Our aim is to restore dignity and confidence to the individual who has suffered or has been affected by the ravages of the illness of alcoholism.
We offer a programme of recovery that works when the link between painful and unmanageable living and the presence of alcohol is identified. A powerful recovery from the illness of alcoholism is a real possibility and the devastating impact of alcohol abuse can be reversed when the process outlined in our ageless recovery programme is adopted and maintained.
We offer support to those who are able to accept their alcohol problem and our approach to recovery is based on the following predications:
- Alcoholism is a disease
- Alcoholism is not a moral failing
- Alcoholics can and do recover
- A treatment for Alcoholism is available
- Alcoholics can restore dignity to their lives by taking responsibility for their condition and seeking the available help that they need.
There is an Alcoholics Anonymous Primary Purpose Group Meeting at 7.15pm each Saturday evening at Saint James Roman Catholic Church Hall, 482, Landseer Road, Ipswich Suffolk IP3 9LU. See
